SoftReviewed Keyword Research is a private tool being developed by SoftReviewed for the website owner’s own keyword research and planning. This page describes the tool; it does not provide public sign-up or access to Google accounts.
What the tool is designed to do
After Google API access is approved and the owner connects an authorized Google Ads account, the tool is intended to retrieve keyword ideas, estimated monthly search volumes, historical monthly trends, advertiser competition and bid estimates. The owner will select keywords or a website URL, country and language to research.
These estimates support topic research and planning for SoftReviewed’s websites. Advertiser competition is not an organic SEO difficulty score, and historical search estimates do not guarantee traffic or rankings.
Google account access
The tool is not yet connected to a Google Ads account. It will use Google authorization rather than asking for a Google password. The intended application performs research requests and does not create campaigns, change bids or start advertising. Google’s authorization scope may nevertheless permit broader account access; the owner must review the consent screen before connecting.
Planned local data handling
The planned implementation runs on the owner’s Windows computer. Authorization credentials will be protected using Windows secure storage, outside the public website and source repository. Keyword-result caches will be retained for up to 30 days; credentials will be retained only while the connection is needed and removed when disconnected. No public customer accounts or shared hosted credential database are planned.
These are implementation requirements, not claims that the unfinished tool is already operational. The privacy policy will be updated with verified storage, deletion and provider details before Google account access is enabled. Credentials and private account information will not be sent to AI providers. If the owner chooses to share keyword research results with an AI assistant, that processing must be disclosed before it is enabled.
