Last updated: 3 October 2026. This section applies specifically to SoftReviewed Keyword Research, a private tool being developed for the website owner’s own keyword research. It is not currently offered to customers or third parties. The tool is in development and has not yet been connected to a Google Ads account.
Information accessed and why
The planned tool will request keyword ideas, estimated search volumes, monthly search trends, advertiser competition and bid estimates through the Google Ads API. Research requests may include keywords, website URLs, countries and languages selected by the owner. Connecting an authorized Google Ads account may also involve account identifiers and OAuth authorization credentials. Aggregate keyword statistics are distinct from private Google account information.
The intended purpose is keyword research and planning for SoftReviewed’s own websites. Account access will be limited to the permissions explicitly authorized by the account owner and the information necessary for the tool’s functionality. Visiting SoftReviewed.com does not itself connect your Google account to this tool or grant it access to your Google Ads data.
Use and sharing of Google user data
Google user data obtained through this tool will be used only to provide its disclosed functionality. It will not be sold, used for advertising targeting or transferred to data brokers. Private account information and authorization credentials will not be published on this website. Any processing by hosting, automation or AI providers must be disclosed before those providers receive Google user data; authorizing Google access does not automatically authorize unrelated third-party processing.
SoftReviewed Keyword Research’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
Storage, security and retention
At this development stage, the tool has not retrieved or stored Google Ads account data or OAuth authorization credentials. The tool will not begin processing Google account data until these practices are defined and disclosed.
Revoking access and requesting deletion
Once connected, the account owner can revoke the tool’s authorization through Google Account third-party connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not automatically erase information previously stored by a connected tool. Any retained Google user data can be the subject of a deletion request through our contact page, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. The operational deletion process will be documented before storage begins.
